Allegro Award

Allegro Award is given to the band director which has completed 5-10 years of teaching band at the elementary, junior high, or high school level. The candidate must have displayed consistent, outstanding progress in the development of their band program. This nominee need not be an NDNBA member.

​Outstanding Jazz Educator Award is given to an individual who has made considerable contributions to jazz education in North Dakota. This nominee need not be an NDNBA member.

Distinguished Service Award is given to an individual/organization who has devoted many years of service and made exceptional contributions to the betterment of the field of band music in the State of North Dakota. This nominee need not be an NDNBA member.

 Citation of Excellence Award

Citation of Excellence Award is given to a candidate who has completed eleven years of teaching or more in the field of band music. The candidate must have also displayed outstanding success in many critical areas of education that may include teaching skills, musicianship, leadership, and a consistent high level of performance by ensembles. This nominee need not be an NDNBA member.
